CakeCentral hits 1 million pageviews in a single day

CakeCentral.com hit a major milestone on Wednesday January 28th 2009 when it served over 1 million page views in a single day!

The exact number was 1,327,506 !!!!!!!!

That's a whole lot of traffic !

The addiction is spreading, everyone loves cake icon_biggrin.gif

It also helped that it was the day voting started on the contest.

But it fit in with the traffic trend. We actually were predicting to crack the 1 million mark based on the rest of the January traffic, but we were shocked to pass it by so much.

Seriously?! Well, you can't blame us, this place ROCKS!!

Honestly, I don't think I'd ever have the... uh, guts icon_redface.gif ... to attempt some of the things I've done with cake without such a great support system.

What I think the best part about the amount traffic is how many people's lives you guys are touching, Heath and Jackie. Just like MacsMom said, there are so many things I would have never tried except for finding it here via forums and articles and all the abundance of knowledge of other experienced bakers. Think of how many dreams you are making to come true...you have helped me live out this baking dream of mine! And for that I say thank you xoxoxoxoxo !!! icon_biggrin.gif
