Hi all!!

Are there any "rules" for the size of a wedding cake topper in relation to the size of the top tier? I have a bride who has a cake topper that has a base 3.5" in diameter and stands about 4.5" tall. How big should the top tier of the cake be to accommodate this/look normal?

Any advice is greatly appreciated! Thanks! icon_smile.gif

I think the proportion should be more in relationship to the height of the cake and not "just" to the size of the tier. I've had toppers that were 5" across on a 6" cake ... looked fine because the cake was nice and tall.
