I am scheduled to make a bridle shower cake for a friend of mine, and she wants hot pink buttercream with black fondant dots and a bow. What brand is the best for achieving hot pink? I thought about frosting the cake with white and using the pink color mist spray, but I'm not sure how intense the color is with that. Any advice is welcome!

Americolor makes great neon colors, including hot pink.

BTW, it's bridal not bridle. icon_biggrin.gif

Americolor makes and electric pink that would probably work for what you need. HTH

americolor is the best, but even the wilton pink will give you a nice bright color

I have used Wilton's 'rose' for hot pink, that's really what they should have named it because to get a good rose color I usually have to blend at least 2 other colors together icon_rolleyes.gif
