Hey all! I've been practicing on making cookie bouquets and have a question about the best way to wrap them. Don't know if any of you have a Dollar "Tree' I found a wide assortment of treat bags for all seasons as well as birthdays. My problem with them is they are quite long and I wind up having to trim the bags then tie ribbons etc....around them. I recently tried using saran wrap and I must say that I like the way it molds itself to the shape of the cookie. When you look at a bouquet it just looks neater because you Have the shape of the cookie defined. It seems to take a lot of time off bagging them and they look just as nice. I got a large roll of wrap from Sam's Club. Are any of you using saran wrap? I'd like to know I'm not alone using this technique. It'really is a lot faster and neater too. So if any of you out there are doing this and have pics posted I'd absolutely LOVE TO SEE THEM!!!!!
THANKS AND HAVE A GREAT YEAR!!!

I use individual cello bags from Country Kitchen Sweet Art in Fort Wayne, In. They come is different sizes and you don't have to cut off the bottom to make them fit.

I have seen the Saran Wrap technique used but have not done it myself. I just use the Cello bags and call it a day. Good luck with whatever you decide! I am sure they will be beautiful no matter what you choose.

Searge, I'd love to see a picture of what the cookies look like with saran wrap. I'd be so willing to use it if it looks as good as you say. I personally don't like the bags because they are either too big or too small (at least the ones from Michael's or A.C. Moore).
