After hitting dead end after dead end, I finally have some potentially good news! I've been trying to find a place to rent for a long time now that is affordable and close to where I live. I've been turned down so many times I lost count! Anyways, I just got off the phone with an administrator at a local church that just build a huge addition on to the church 2 yrs ago. Included in that addition was a HUGE commercial kitchen with all new state of the art equipment. I am meeting him later today for a tour and he is seriously thinking of renting it out to me!! Normally they only let members only use it for special occassions. I am not a member at that particular church though, so at first he wasn't too sure. However, the more I talked to him, the more open to the idea he seemed. I am so excited!! He's meeting with the board next Tues. (Jan. 20th) and is going to run the idea past them. He's already talking about how neat it would be to have an in-house cake decorator though for the weddings that they do there. There has to be a good sign I would think! Please send me good thoughts and prayers!!
