Has anyone made the pineapple coconut banana cake? How much batter does this recipe make? Any advice on making it? My niece is having a Hawaiian graduation party, and I would like to make for her. Thanks for any info.

That's my favorite cake!  I use PIneapple supreme cake mix (DH), 3 ripe bananas, 1-1/3 c coconut creamer, and 1-1/3 c pineapple juice.  It's best if you can add a few drops of Lorann Pina Colada concentrated oil, but it is great without it.

One full recipe of the WASC (2 boxes cake mix) can fill four 7" pans, two 10" pans,... scroll down this recipe link to see other pan sizes: http://www.food.com/recipe/white-almond-sour-cream-wedding-cake-69630

No pressure... no diamonds.

I'm so glad this old school thread was pulled up. MacsMom and Chef_Stef thank you for sharing your flavor combos. I'm always looking for unique flavors to try out. I hope to get some staples perfected and take them to the farmers market.

Has anyone tried the Root Beer Float cake? I was wondering if regular root beer float extract would work instead of the lorann drams? If so, what amount??

I would like to make this for my dad's birthday next week, he's had a really tough year, but I'm not sure I would have enough time to order the flavorings online.

Thanks!

Macsmom, I to am new to this thread and feel like I hit the mother lode.  Quick question, I see you use a lot of egg whites but not whole eggs.  Can I ask why and can I use whole eggs instead?  If so is there a formula for how many to use according to how many egg whites you use?  Again thank you so much.

Macsmom, for the Pineapple Coconut Banana cake. Do we follow the WASC recipe plus de additions for this cake?? Or do you just substitute the liquids? Sorry for the dumb question.

thanks!

I've made this cake several times.  It is a favorite of everyone I know.  I've never used root beer float extract, only the lorann drams.  I'm not sure if you're near a Hobby Lobby, but I find they carry it--no need to order online.

Good morning macsmom, this has probably been answered before but I cant seem to find it, so i will apologise now... :)  I really want to try your white chocolate truffle filling with a white choc and rasp mud cake for a cake due this Saturday, does it need to be kept in the fridge or will it be ok under fondant for 2 days. You have been so generous on this tread.. Thank you thumbs_up.gif

My cat did that with my phone one day.   She forwarded all my  phone calls to the last number I dialed.  Took a while to figure out what she did.  I did not even know how to forward a phone call.  Had to call the phone company to straighten out her mess.  My landline is a desk phone so all she did was walk on the keys in the proper order.

Love'n this thread.  Copy and pasted a lot to wordpad.  Thank you everybody.
