Hey everyone!!
I got my VERY first cake order. WOOHOO Of course it's on short notice... a Cinderella stand up cake for Saturday. I am freaking out just a tad.
Anyway, I have been furiously reading all the stand up doll posts on here and they were so helpful.
I went to my kitchen and my kitchenaid bowl caught my eye (4.5 quart)... I thought... what a great dress!!
I am thinking it has to be bigger than the wonder mold and I will be using a full size barbie.
I searched online and found one lady who has done this sucessfully with a great cake and no harm to the bowl... but I would feel much better knowing that someone here on CC has done it.
Anyone baked a cake in their kitchenaid bowl before???
Oh and I am thinking I would need more than a flower nail, huh?? Would buying the heating core work?
Thanks so much... and if anyone wants to give any tips on a cinderella they've made I'm all ears. It will be buttercream... she doesn't want fondant and good thing since I just started course 3 last night.
