Whoo Hoo! Just found a new store that is carrying everything I have to order on line! It is called AGS Cake Supply and is located at the intersection of Blanco Road and Loop 1604. I am so excited I can hardly stand it! They carry everything including colored Satin Ice! They are on the Southeast corner. Please give them a visit. You will be glad you did!

Good to know! Michaels & Hobby Lobby just don't quite cut it for those few items that usually I have to order online. Can't tell you how many times I'll swear I have a particular something only to discover I don't when I need it...LOL! It is a little far away but definitely will be trip worthy I'm sure. Do they have a website?

No website yet but they even carry disco dust, large volume items like frosting, wide variety of specialty candles and toppers, you name it! It will be well worth a trip in from Canyon Lakes! Do you have a shop?

Do you have the number for the store? I am going to San Antonio this weekend and would love to go check it out.

Thanks,
Cecilia

A.G.S. (American Gift Shoppe) 210-333-0240 18154 Blanco Rd. Ste. 105. It is a little difficult to get to because it is at the very Southeast corner of Loop 1604 and Blanco Rd. Their hours are 9-7 M-F, 10-5 Sat and closed Sunday.

Do you have to be a business or can individuals just walk in a purchase items? There is another supply store in San Antonio but you have to have a business Tax Id number.

AGS sells to the public, not just to businesses. So does Terry's on El Monte and Lucy's on the south side, but they don't have all the cool stuff that AGS has.

AGS is opening another cake supply store in the new shopping center where Central Park Mall use to be. So glad there is more than just a couple now! I love to visit Terry's but it was never open when I had an emergency it seems and it was so far from me. I really enjoy the people that work at AGS too. Very friendly and very helpful!

I keep hoping AGS will also open one in the Bulverde/Spring Branch area or in New Braunfels...The drive into SA is almost an hour for me from the north side of Canyon Lake. Heck I'd even prefer Stone Oak area for that matter icon_smile.gif

I've been going to AGS for over a year now. I live 2 hours away (in Corpus Christi), but my DD live in San Antonio, so I get up there frequently. It's been a life-saver!! Lots of goodies, but the prices are a bit steep.

They are higher than ordering online, but you don't have to pay shipping so it usually comes out about the same...and there's something to be said for being able to get something right when you need it too icon_biggrin.gif
