This is how I done mine:
I used a wonder mold pan for the body, then I just molded a circle head. I also made a rkt 8in round pan for the wonder mold to sit on to give him more of a body. As for the arms and legs I just molded them with my hands, nothing special.
I let them sit out to get really hard before putting them together with skewers. You can view my pic in my photos.
This was my first elmo and he wasn't hard at all.
Oh, don't use as much butter as the recipe calls for, I think I used half the amount of butter.
The eyes, nose and mouth are made of fondant. As for the mouth I just carved into the rkt.
I used tip 233 for the fur... hope this helps you.
