http://z.about.com/d/shoes/1/0/B/5/chocolate_gift_shoes.jpg Hey does anyone now where to get these moulds & how to make these? Thanks
A company called Kitchen Krafts does them, dont know the site address but if you input the name and do a search you should find it. Good luck, look forward to seeing the pictures
Thank you so much gales! its KITCHENKRAFTS.COM and they have those choc shoe molds and also purse molds!!!
Thanks everyone! I looked at that site & the ones they have are pretty small, I'm wondering if they have bigger ones somewhere. On the link I sent, the shoes are about the size of regular shoes & theres more detail, its exactly like a heel. Thanks
I just ordered this chocolate shoe mold from sugarcraft.com yesterday. They are about $4.33 for the large mold.
iceit4me, your site was blocked, could you pm me and let me know where you ordered them from? TIA
Ok this isn't working! I will glady tell anyone that wants to know where I got the large chocolate shoe mold where I got it. Please just email me at [email protected].
JenniferMI sells a shoe mold that is better than the one at s*g*rcr*ft.com (aka the blocked site.) I like her mold better because the heel is thicker yet still feminine looking. If you look at her website she did a chocolate shoe also which is gorgeous.
I have those molds, (a friend of mine gave them to me ) I have never try them before, but I do not know how to do it, should I fill both and let the chocolate set and how can I stick them together?
Thank you in advance I hope some body can help me.
Gayles Chocolates.com has premade chocolate high heel shoes you can order. They are pricy at $40 a shoe, but they are beautiful and a time saver.
Hi!
If you want to see a pic of the choc. shoe, just e-mail me, I don't have it on the site right now.
Jen
PS - These are REALLY fun to make!!
These are so much fun to make! Your imagination can run wild. I have an order for a wedding where they are placing a shoe in the center of each table with cake balls in it. The designs will be different to add conversation..... fun!!
Thanks BWB!
Jen
oh I want to make these!! I have several wedding showers coming up and filling with cake balls for centerpieces are a great idea.
Hi Kayla -
If I didn't answer you, please let me know. I had so many questions on these that I can't keep them all straight
Jen
I'll ask a question that I've already asked but I'll ask it again! How do they do the spots and designs on those shoes??? Especially if the shoes are chocolate poured into a mold.
Bob~ I would do it like you would do details on other molds....paint those in first, let dry, then pour in the chocolate.
I went to my local cake store and the had nly one more left of these molds, so I snatched it up really fast and ran to the conter to pay.
So I tried it out today and I think it came out cute, I'll post a picture of it later.
Thanks Jen, I'm still gonna order 2 more molds, becuz if I know my friends and family, im gonna be making alot of these around valetine.
