Is there a thread for cake ball recipes? I have a lemon cake mix, vanilla, chocolate and spice cake mix and I was wondering does anyone have a good recipe for any of these flavors?

TIA and MERRY CHRISTMAS!

I like to combine DH butter fudge (but it's usually just scraps) with my white cake scraps add some caramel ice cream topping or dulche de leche coffee creamer and chunks of frozen icing and dip in almond bark spiced with caramel lorann oil (or plain).

I've never used the lemon but I would think that lemon would be good on it's own with some buttercream or cream cheese icing dipped in coating - or maybe add some raspberry preserves.

For the spice cake, the first thing that comes to mind is to throw in some pecans, brown sugar and maybe a few tablespoons of the pumpkin spice creamer or cream cheese frosting and dip in candy coating or maybe just roll in finely crushed pecans or just sugar and cinnamon. you could also add a little sweet potato if you have some. Lorann has a cheesecake flavor oil that is similar to cream cheese so you could try that also....just depends on what you have. I tend to throw in everything but the kitchen sink.

I'm going over to my moms later today to get fruit cake and orange slice cake...haven't figured out what i'll do with those yet!
