Hello and welcome to CC,

You can go to this link http://cakecentral.com/cake-decorating-ftopict-612252.html it is a thread about Sugarshacks bc icing recipe. It has a lot of other links to threads about her recipe, tips and also a link to her youtube about how to make her icing.

Hers is the recipe and tips I use for my bc icing. Using Sugarshacks (Sharon's) recipe and tips, I have very few to no air bubbles, and it has a very smooth texture to it. I have also read great comments on Indydebis icing. Good Luck!

God Bless,
Sharon

I LOVE Sugarshack's buttercream. But if you're needing fewer air bubbles immediately, one thing I've found that helps is "slapping" the buttercream against the side of the bowl. Just take your spatula, don't stir it creates more bubbles, get some on it & push it against the bowl, almost slapping it. This is how I mix in my colors too b/c if you stir in your colors you'll have air bubbles all over the place. After doing this for a few months I saw the lady from Magnolia Bakery doing the same thing on Good Morning America. So, glad others do it too.
