Are you looking for one from scratch or from a box? I think Betty Crocker has a German Chocolate box mix!

German Chocolate Frosting
This is easy and tastes soooooooo good! I use it with a chocolate cake mix from a box

1 cup evaporated milk
1 cup white sugar
3 egg yolk, beaten with 1 teaspoon water
1/2 cup margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup flaked coconut
In a large saucepan combine evaporated milk, sugar, egg yolks, margarine and vanilla. Cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until thick. Remove from heat and stir in pecans and coconut. Spread on cake while still warm.
Enjoy!

For my german chocolate I always use a box and usually either add an extra egg or about 1/2 - 1 c. of mayo...and then I use an awesome frosting recipe like the one posted above. YUM!!! The frosting is really what makes it!
