Pans - Magic Line vs. Wilton

Thread Starter
I've noticed a big difference in the way the Magic Line pans bake compared to the Wilton ones and I'm considering replacing the Wilton pans that I have with Magic Line. I've noticed that the Wilton cakes bake much darker, almost like a crust but the Magic Line ones come out baked perfectly... no dark outside. Is this my imagination or has anyone else noticed this?

Nope, not your imagination at all dinkadoo.. I've noticed the same thing .. the cakes get much darker in Wilton pans .. in the Magic Line, they're nice and light golden in color ... I just LOVE my Magic Line pans and I'm doing the same thing, replacing as I can icon_smile.gif

Hi all...this is my very first post on CC! I too have noticed a big difference with Magic Line vs. Wilton, and I think Magic Line is a far superior product. I'll be replacing my Wilton pans also!

I replaced my wilton pans with magic line ones a few months ago. Best thing I've ever done! I like the way the give nice crisp edges too. Beautiful color & crisp edges! Couldn't ask for anything better~

I've noticed the same thing with the Wilton pans...I only have 1 Magic Line, though. After reading this post, I've decided: For every Magic Line pan I buy I'm gonna sell the Wilton one I have in that size on ebay!!! lol
All I see on there is Wilton & people seem to be crazy for 'em.

I use Magic Line pans, as soon as I could I replaced my Wilton ones. Magic Line pans are made in Gardena, California by a company called Parrish's. They have many retailers they sell to. You should be able to purchase them at your local cake supplier. I will get a website address for you.

I have to try these! I'm not thrilled with Wilton either, but that's all I've seen around here. I just finished baking a 10" square in my Wilton pan - does anyone know why they have that design in the bottom of the square and rectangular pans? That bothers me for some silly reason

Here is the website address
parrishsmagicline.com, phone number 310-324-2253 or by email at customerservice@parrishsmagicline.com. I am sure they can direct you to a retailer in your area.

I love the magic line pans. I have a few of the square ones and 2 sheet pans, but none that are round. You can so tell the difference in them and the Wilton ones.
