I just had to share with my CC friends that I am absolutely, positively, head or heals IN LOVE with my new AGBAY cake slicer!!! icon_biggrin.gif

I ordered it late on the 10th and received it on the 15th - super fast considering there was a federal holiday during the week too!

My "hope to be" future Son-in-law was there when the package arrived and he immediately became very interested in it and put it together for me in no time at all. So when I got ready to use it last night I waited until he got there so he could watch. I did the first 2 cakes and he did the other 4 cakes! My DD is "no Betty Crocker" if you know what I mean! icon_lol.gif

Man - this slicer is smooth and so super easy to use - I was and am totally amazed by it!!

If you don't have one - put it on your Christmas or birthday wishlist! You're gonna love it too!!!

Have a great day and weekend ya'll!!

Totally jealous! Would love one of these, just not in the budget at the moment. Maybe in Jan when I tend to get all my wedding season bookings I'll be able to get one...hoping, hoping, hoping...icon_wink.gif

I know what you mean by budgeting!! I overbooked for about a 2 week period and saved back enough to order the 1 blade cutter. I don't torte a whole lot - and was too impatient to wait to save the $100 bucks for the deluxe. And yes -the cleaning tool is amazing!!

I had to level 2 - 18" square cakes in September with the Wilton one and that was a nightmare and a half!! I vowed then (& so did DH) that I would have an Agbay before the next huge wedding cake!

Leahs - as always - you are right again!

I'd love to have one of these. Maybe some day... I struggle with my Wilton crappy one, although lately I've been just using the pan as a guide with a knife.

It is a great tool. I love mine also. Just be careful it is so sharp. I swear I cut myself everytime I touch it. Well ok, everytime I get in a hurry to clean it. I do have the cleaning tool and it is great to have, it works very well, saves fingers.
