Can anybody give me some advice on what to use for guitar strings. I have to make an electric guitar in fondant and really need to know what everybody is using for the strings. Is it just wire? Please I need some help!

I keep hearing people say spaghetti, but in all honesty who is going to eat that?

I used silver thread for mine, it looked great.

I used fishing line for mine you cant see them in the photo but they did look real on the cake. The cake was black so you don't see any of the detail in the photo. The Hanna Montana cake I did I was running late so when I was in the shower my mom decided she would just pipe them on for me I didn't have the heart to do them over she was trying to help.

I piped royal strings on mine.. they weren't perfectly straight but it was easy and they looked good...

I used Sugarveil for these strings. Nice thing about Sugarveil is it remained pliable long enough to actually tie the strings around the tuning pegs.

I used my clay gun and used fondant.
