This might have been asked before, but I couldn't find it yet.

Can sucker molds I buy for chocolate (plastic) be used for hard candy suckers?

I don't think so. I purchased some molds for the hard candy and they are white. The chocolate molds are clear. I think the white ones can handle the heat of the sugar. I hope someone else can answer because I'm not really sure.

No they can not. Hard candy molds are made of materials that can withstand high heat and chocolate molds are not.

Generally speaking a hard candy mold will be white while a chocolate mold will be clear.

Where's a good website to buy the molds from?
