Hi all, Here is a cake I did last night. I think its a Dooney Barry purse, I had a picture to follow but didn't do it exactly like the picture. I put it on a (to look like) table top, getting ready for a night out. Any comments are welcome.
Thanks

That's really, really cute! I love the keys and the gloves - it's a great touch.

Thanks, I was going to add a bouquet of roses but that didn't work out.

thank you all so much. I found a font that was very close and typed it up and printed it on icing sheets. I really enjoy doing this, but in my area of the country its a pretty depressed area, I can't charge like some do. I charge $55.00 for most all the cakes I do. I figured it up and if I get 40 servings of cake from this it works out to about $1.38 per piece. So I guess its a good thing I love doing it so much.

I love Dooney & Bourke...my favorite purses!. Excellent job. It's a shame that you can't charge what it's worth.

Love your cake!! I am still very new and want to try a coach purse for my bestfriends birthday. What are icing sheets and how do you print on them?

Thanks!

I bought a printer designed just to print icing sheets. It uses food coloring for the ink. I got mine from icingimages.com If you go to their website you can find out all about the printers and icing sheets there are many different types of printers. I know some people have had trouble with their printers and ink, but I have never had any problems with mine. Its a canon 1500. I've had it for several years.
