Has anybody heard about the 2009 Tennessee Cake Festival in Nashville Tn. Just thought I'd mention it. The registration fee is really reasonable icon_lol.gif

I live in southern Kentucky and only about 2 hours from Nashville. We always attend the Christmas lights at the Opryland Hotel in Nashville. It is so beautiful. I am so glad there is going to be a show that we can attend. We have plans on going. Sounds like so much fun!!! thumbs_up.gif

I am considering an entry but I'm afraid my skill level would make it a waste of time and cake.

Kimmypooh79, it wouldn't be a waste of cake or time. Just do your best, and try something new. I LOVE your figure of your DH drooling on himself asleep in the chair. LOL I am entering, and I am nothing near perfect. I have a very bad habit of challenging myself a little too much though, so I hope I don't get in over my head. I just want to have fun and challenge myself, and hopefully someone else will appreciate what I have done.

Where can I find more info on this? Rules; cost; when entries are to be delivered; etc etc??

Thank you, that was the first time I'd ever used fondant. I think my problem is that I expect more from myself than I can do, too.
