Hi everyone,
I want to make a cake for my step dad's birthday, he doesnt like real sweet cakes nor does he care much for chocolate. What kind of cake do you think would work best with a coffee filling?
Thanks in advance
Melanie
What about a pumpkin or spice cake? I've never tried it, but it just seems like it would be good.
Try a general coffee-cake type cake, omit all the sugary topping, then use your coffee-filling in between the layers. Then I'd make a drizzle for the top or just ice it. I'll be that would be yummy good!
French vanilla, cappucino cake, mocha cake, hazelnut, butter pecan, walnut.
Let me know if you need recipe help....
