Recently a series of PAY IT FORWARD threads have been going on which has raised questions about how it applies to our policies regarding using the forums to solicit exchanges of products for money, barter, trade, etc.
Obviously the idea of PAY IT FORWARD is a positive goal and so we would like to accomodate it. So on a trial basis these threads will be allowed to proceed.
There are some rules for this:
1. These threads must go in the LOUNGE.
2. There can be no exchange of money involved. If we find out these are becoming financial transactions then we will terminate these threads and ban the offending parties.
This rule is in place to make sure no vendors attempt to manipulate this for commercial gain.
3. CakeCentral will not mediate any exchanges gone wrong and if these threads lead to hurt feelings or damage to the community in any form they will be discontinued.
