I have purchased several gumpaste cutters and the problem I am having is identifying which goes with which . I thought about putting labels on them but that will only wash off. Does anyone have any ideas on the following:
1. How to identify cutters
2. How to store them so you can see them & keep work space
organized.
Thanks
Well I lable all of my cutters (sometimes it's so hard to know what they really are!) with a sharpie, on a part I know won't touch dough. I hand wash them too and still the sharpie hasn't washed off.
As for storing, why not get some clear bins or hardware store even carry tool organizers. I use a nail, screw organizer for all my tips, they can be mounted on a wall and have great little drawers.

I went to the local craft store and bought those rectangular plastic containers with the movable dividers used to store jewelry and gem pieces and store my cutters in them. Each cutter set gets it's own cube within the box and if the cutters came with pics, I cut the pic out and tape it under where the cutter will rest so I know what the cutters will create.

Brilliant! Thanks for sharing, I will be re-organzing my cutters this weekend!
What great ideas!! I will have to be looking out for some of these to organize. I have such a space issue I think that will help!!!
