My sister has requested a tinkerbell cake for my niece's 2nd birthday. Any ideas or direction would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Michelle

You could do a frozen butter cream transfer
of tinkerbell.it's pretty easy to do.

Bigboots,
You mentioned a buttercream transfer in your post. What is that it sounds really nice. Can you tell me more about it.
Thanks Daniela

You could do a color flow image of tinkerbell or a chocolate transfer and stand her up on top of a two tier (possibly 6" and 9 or 10") round cake. Then use buttercream to write on the side around the top layer "Wishes do come true..." and around the bottom layer "just for you!" or "now that you're 2!" That would be cute! And fairly easy too!

Here's one I did last weekend. It's an edible image put on gumpaste. You can also buy premade tinkerbell images, even from ebay.

Peacockplace...your Tinkerbelle cake is so cute! I have to do one next month. I think I will go the easy route and do an edible image on top of a sheet cake....or maybe a gel transfer!
