I was looking in the wilton yearbook at their chocolate fondant recepie and it says to add chocolate melts to the wilton ready to use fondant. I hate the taste of their fondant and prefer to use MMF. I was wondering if I could just add the choco. melts to MMf? I am attempting to make that one Halloween cake that is stacked with the giant pumpkin on top of it for my sisters b'day this weekend.

I made MMF and added cocoa to the PS.....about 1/2 to 3/4 C. .....it depends on how chocolatey/dark you want it. It was very good.

Thanks for the reply, the cake calls for chocolate fondant tinted black. I will have to go get some cocoa and just see how it turns out.

regular stuff. (I'm sure there are other brands, I'm just familiar with Hershey's.)
