Not sure where I should have posted this question, I hope here is okay. I'm sure I am not the only one who has noticed the cakes posted by zcdzcd recently and I wondered if she/he or anyone could tell me how to translate their website. Their cakes are truly amazing and I would love to be able to read about them. Not sure if it is Russian, German, Ukranian etc. but their work is just beyond words.

Another poster has been posting the website from which the cakes are taken in some of the comments underneath some of the more popular photos.

If the owner of the website is the one who is posting the cakes, hopefully she will get on soon and let us know more about her talent. Also I hope she will explain how she learned so much between her earlier cakes and her latest postings!

Amazing progress....or maybe she was posting some of her kids cakes, that could be possible as well.

I too noticed the rapid progress between earlier cakes posted by 'z' (I forget the name since I am posting!! ) and the cakes posted yesterday. Whoever is desiging those cakes are AMAZING!!!!! In fact, almost all my cakes have some sort of whimsical fondant scultping, so I am up at 4:30am on a Sunday so I can practice --- those pics inspired me!!

The Russian site is VERY amazing.

I contacted Jackie and Heath regarding the member's suspicious album, I guess that's all we can do for now. I also contacted the Russian site, if the photos are indeed stolen they can contact Jackie and Heath and let them know.

Ok, I was just looking through the gallery of ZCDZCD. On the Barbie cake, s/he acknowledges that these cakes are not he/rs. I guess s/he just didn't read or understand the rules.

Liis - YIKES - can't say I've ever seen anything more blaten than this! My only comment was it seemed like these pics were coming in fast, like a boatload was uploaded all at once . . . no comments, no description of what is was for, no TFL, no nothing. Odd. Have to leave in the hands of Jackie and Heath. From previous postings, they stay on top of this stuff and take it seriously.

It is a shame about the mix up as to who's work is who's. I hope it gets resolved with no hard feelings and creators of these works get the applause of their work they rightly deserve.

I would hope that ZCDZCD just did not understand the rules and should be asked to remove the photos that are not hers, Rania's and Jane's (owner of the Russian site).

It would be nice if Jane from the Russian site would become a member, her work is absolutly beautiful. If you have not seen her site you should take a look. With the help of a translator I found explanations of how she makes her figures...They are hard to understand but very interesting. I would love to learn more of her techniques.

Her cakes are amazing, I'm intrigued with how she does the water look...

If you highlight the text then right click, go to page info, then translate into english. It is so cool, the whole page translates. I noticed right away the difference in the cakes of this person, I knew these could not have been the same person as the first cakes that were uploaded. I hope that this gets taken care of. It is not fair!!

Jane-I agree with the others. You are one of the reasons I do not tell my customers about this site. If they see your work they will know that mine pales in comparison. I love what you do and just stand in awe of your cakes. My husband even said they were AMAZING and he doesn't really care much about cakes.
