I have a few bags of unopened Wilton candy melts, as well as a few bags of opened candy melts. I can't find an expiration date anywhere. They've been stored in a cabinet in an air-conditioned room. Do they have an expiration?? Thanks so much!

How do they smell? Is the color correct? If both of those are good, how do they taste?

Unopened should last a couple years I think.

The unopened bags look fine in color. The opened bags taste like candy melts! There's no white coating on the outside like what happens to chocolate sometimes.
