I know that i've seen them somewhere and I cant find them.

I am looking for a clear plastic 'container'/'holder'/'carrier' that holds 1 dozen cupcakes and the top is hinged as well as domed so it doesnt smush the top of the cuppies.

I have a funeral to go to next weekend and its also around the time of my b/f's mothers' b-day as well as my own b-day. I thought it would be nice to make some cuppies for this sad occasion and I thought this would be the best way to travel with them.

Any suggestions? guidence? hints? direct links icon_wink.gif ?

Any and all help is, as always, greatly appreciated. Thank you!

I wasnt paying attention 100% to what I was typing.

I didnt mean to say "bake cupcakes for this sad occasion".

I mean to say in spite of this sad occasion, try to bring a little cheer.

I'm not an ass, I just cant type. icon_razz.gif

For what it's worth, Target has a cupcake carrier that holds 13 regulars or 24 minis, and the dome lid is HUGE compared to lots I've seen (including the Oneida one I bought icon_mad.gif ). I hate using my $25 Oneida carrier, I never know if the frosting is going to get smashed, and the bottom layer (if I was to use it by itself, without stacking the 2nd tier of cuppies on top) is actually a muffin pan so they are a pain in the ### to get out. I am thinking of buying two of the Target ones and chucking my "single 24-cuppy carrier". The Target one is a whopping $6.99, if there is one near you I highly recommend it since you wouldn't have to worry if it would arrive on time (and you said you only need to carry 1 dozen).

Sams Club will sell you a case of the inserts that hold 30. They cost about 35 cents each and fit in a 1/2 sheet box...of course everything I've bought there can only be purchased in case lots...Debbie

I just received my order of cupcake containers from Plasticcontainercity.com and they are just what i wanted....and the best part is that for a container that holds 6 cupcakes they were only .41 each!!! I got 65 containers with shipping for less than $35. I will definitely order from them again!!

If the link doesn't work, go to kitchencollection's web site and type in cupcake carrier.
