I found a web site that had pictures of cupcakes made with a collar around them to look like tuxedos and wedding dresses. The collar was made out of paper and crimped to look like corugated paper...so cute! My problem is now I can't locate them or the directions for the collar...hve any of you see this? Debbie

I don't know of a website, but I have similar ones in my photos. Are they ones you are talking about.

Those are really cute, kimsmom. Were they hard to make, or just time-consuming?

The 3-d ones are more time consuming for obvious reasons.
The nut cup ones are the easiest as they are a straight cut, and I can get more per page.
Once I get the prototype done it'a just a matter of putting them together in an assembly line.
And thank you so much for the nice comment.

Those are great kimsmom- even with all the time I put in on cakes, I don't think I could sit long enough to cut and crimp all those collars and cut out and make the little details that mke them so fabulous. Great job, girl!!

Glad I could help.
A word of advice, don't try to crimp each individual wrapper separately as they won't go thru evenly.
And make sure your wrappers are not touching the icing as they might pick up a greasy look.
I'm going to iron on the wax from wax paper before cutting to see if this helps next time.
