Does anyone have instructions for carving a football that they wouldn't mind sharing. I don't want to use a football shaped pan I want to actually carve one.

I have carved one, but don't really have any special instructions. I used a rectange cake, cut it in half and stacked, then just started carving. If you cut a piece of paper to the size of your cake and draw a football shape on that first, you can use that as your template to get started!

I forget that we are a multi-national group here at CC. I am looking for an American Football as in NFL. Thank you.

This is the one that I did. I used the wilton oval pan and then shaped it from there. If you have a real football to look at, it makes it easier.

Any ideas on how to make the alabama logo as cupcake toppers? I noticed some that was made on this website.

AWhen I have a logo (find a picture on the internet) I just print it out from the computer after sizing it. Place wax paper over the paper and trace with whatever medium your using.
