Is this any bigger then the one you found on the other site ?
Fiddlesticks,
Thanks again...I didn't even think of looking on the Hershey site (duh) but I will give it a try. The country kitchens site doesn't give measurements but it has only 1 per mold & the other was 4 per mold. It must be bigger.

You should also check on ebay ! Lots of times they have new molds and also you can find the older ones so you might find the size your looking for ?
I got my cookie mlds from Spinningleaf and they are fab! I made chocolate covered Oreos (with the fleur de lis) and they were beautiful , easy and mmmmmmmm.
I am not sure if you have a Sam's club near you, but they have Ghirardelli candy making bars they are 2.5 lbs for about 7 bucks GREAT DEAL AND AWESOME chocolate those Oreos are my fav.
Ooh, I never thought of decorating them afterwards! Think outside the oreo mold....
Time to go Jackson Pollock on some oreos!
Thanks for the Sam's Club heads up. Time to borrow Daddy's card!
Isnt everyone Well at least you hold your head up high and announce it like a real women !
Now go get those Oreo's
I charge $3.00 a piece.

seriously? Each? Or are you bagging a couple together?
I'm stumped to...are you charging $3.00 per dipped oreo or do you package more than 1?
Fiddlesticks your cookies are so cute!! You all have such great ideas- my Mom wanted me to do some chocolate pretzels for a bake sale at her work in a couple of weeks- but now I'm thinking Oreos might be a better way to go!!
I get $3.00 per cookie. I have always gotten $3.00
for any of my cookies. No one has ever blinked an eye at it. Yes, if they are an order I bag and a small ribbon if they want. Mostly just boxed in a small box with tissue paper.
I guess I never really thought about it. Someone asked me how much I would charge to do these for them and I said 3 and that is where it has always been. Hmmmmmmmm. Now I am wondering if I am screwing people? I didn't mean to. I personally think they are a pain in the butt to do.
Lu
wow...thanks for the pricing input. i havent made any yet but the decorated ones do look like they could be a pia.
With the molds they are a breeze to do. Seriously, quick and easy. I don't like dipping them - those get to be a pain, but the molds are the best thing evah!!
. . . here is a tutorial on the molds . . . spinningleaf has several great molds for oreos . . . http://www.spinningleaf.com/tutorials/chocolate-covered-oreos/index.php . . . and the link for the molds themselves . . . http://www.spinningleaf.com/cookie-molds/index.php
ooooh, thanks for sharing these links. I had no idea they made such a thing I love oreos! I am going to order some molds right now
Another really good holiday oreo.. just dip them in chocolate like normal and while it is still a little wet sprinkle crushed candy cane on the top it tastes awesome!
Oh and be sure and buy the red cream filled ones for xmas they look real cute with the crushed up candycane on top after you bite into it !
OK, this MAY be a stupid question but I am still fairly new so bare with me I love the pictures of how the Oreos come out. How do you end up with the cookie covered in chocolate, and then an emblem (i.e. awareness ribbon, etc.) in a different color on top of it? Is this done in two separate steps? Or can you put colored white chocolate and regular chocolate in the mold at the same time? Thanks as always
