icon_evil.gificon_evil.gif I have to say that I really DON'T like the "new" facebook! I'm kind of an idiot when it comes to the net or anything other than email and CC! icon_razz.gif Had the old one figured out though! Why change a good thing?? icon_confused.gif Thanks for the compliments on the cuppies! Hey Jen! When do we get to submit #s for the next try? How does that work? Haven't done it yet.... icon_redface.gif

Mel! I hope you're feeling better soon! thumbs_up.gificon_wink.gif

Yeah, I hate it too! I had found a way back to the old facebook after they made the new permanent switch, but they deleted the app. icon_mad.gif I think they're getting a lot of complaints about it though, so hopefully they'll switch back! I know I email them everyday just to say "you suck and so does your new site." icon_twisted.gif Hey do you know if there's a CC group or fan page on there? (<-sorry for the slight hijack)

And yes, I'm ready for another recipe!!!! So when does the new thread start? I'm hungry over here...hungry for cupcakes! icon_cry.gif

Feel better Mel!! icon_smile.gif

Jen is taking numbers like we all did before, and I think she gave this one 2 weeks so that more people could get around to it.

Aaaaawwwwww! Dang! So when the next recipe submitter posts the recipe do we send a # then within the first few days? I kind of feel like an idiot as I really have been following this since the start of the CCCC!! icon_redface.gificon_rolleyes.gif

Michelle it's sort of become the unofficial way we're doing it. When the next person starts their post, if they continue with this, you would just PM them a number between 1 and 1000. But they could choose to do it another way, that is possible, so you'll have to watch and see what they say! Though, at this point, I think we've kind of established that as the 'way to do it' because it is so fair, etc.

Sorry Michelle, the cutoff date for numbers was last Sunday, the 21st. icon_sad.gif I made this recipe post for 2 weeks to give people more time to do it since people are still showing an interest in making it. The next person that's selected (in the next few days) can then decide what they want to do with selecting #6 or whatever. I will let that person know here soon so they can get ready for their recipe!

Seems that someone mentioned earlier in the thread that their cuppies from this recipe tended to stick to the papers. Just wondered if anyone else had this problem or not. Thanks as think my family wouldn't mind trying these for me. icon_lol.gif

Wow! I've been so busy I forgot about this. I haven't been getting notices! I definitely still want to try these. I'll try today!
I've found the best place to find the different flavored kisses is Walgreens. The caramel apple ones must be really popular because the clerk said they had them but they sold out quick! I really want those coffee ones! icon_sad.gif

so i tried these tonight but i have a confession to make. I didn't follow the recipe icon_sad.gif it's 1 AM and i just suddenly had a craving and decided to make these. I used my favorite brownie recipe and peanut butter and the ganache i had in the fridge.

my only problem with this is that they won't cool fast enough for me to eat!!!! I took pics but they're awful. but the cuppies were good.

I didn't have any problems with the cupcakes sticking to the liners at all. This recipe turned out really well for me.

Okay Ladies I made these today and here's how they did and how I did it:

I followed the recipe to a tee except I put them in at 400 and drop the temp to 325 after the cuppies went in. The recipe only made 14 cuppies and I filled the cuppie about 3/4 and then put a mini reese cup in the middle of the batter before going in the oven. They turned out beautiful and after making the gaunche ( just as the recipe says) I put it on the cuppie. Liners did not stick and everyone loved them. They only lasted about 30 minutes at the most. My grandkids loved them. Oh I used gardelie chocolate for the ganache. I will post pictures tomorrow. I give this recipe a 5 because everyone loved it and they were super simple to make. icon_biggrin.gif

Have finished my Chocolate Peanut Butter cupcakes! I followed the original recipe. Baked for 22 minutes but could have taken out before that. They baked flat so I had a hard time telling when done. I ended up with 14 cc's. I enjoyed the simplicity of making these except for unwrapping all of the candies. icon_smile.gif They are really good! The ganache really makes these. I dipped them in the warm ganache and sprinkled the p.b. cups. They still are more like a brownie even making them with the cake like recipe on the box. My husband was drooling even before I frosted them. He loves chocolate! I just ate a half ( we're trying to lose weight) and got a good bite of peanut butter. I'm going to save these for our tail gate party Saturday. There's no doubt these will go fast! I'll rate these a 3.5 because I like these but don't know if I'll make again. Maybe for a picnic or for the Grandkids. icon_smile.gif

Your very welcome Grami.
Cupcakeshoppe I think since I filled them 3/4 that yes when I put the reesecup in there it was covered by the batter.

Ok I finally made mine today!!

I didn't use the cakelike recipe... I did the regular recipe because I like the fudgy brownies. Then I did little mini cupcakes, and used the Reese's mini cups, the ones you buy in a bag like chocolate chips. That was pretty good! And I did a swirl of whipped ganache on top. YUMMY!!

The only problem that I had was my own durn fault! I got sidetracked while doing the first pan, and underbaked them dramatically. It was really sad... two dozen of them... down the tubes. WAAHHHHH! But the second batch came out perfect and were delish!! These are like the brownie bites that I make, but I hadn't done them with these little PB cup chips.

Overall, very good!

So, Jen, have you alerted the next poster??? I can't wait to find out what's next!!
