I'm with you angelatx. I would have jumped on some banana split oreos. I thought they were only in my dreams. I am going to request them at our stores.

How surprised was I when I entered sugarshack with a www in front and a com at the end. Let's just say it's not about cakes... icon_redface.gif

I did see though that sugarcraft has an actual oreo packaging section.

Not to overstep jescapades but they're candy melts. makenmold is the brand.

I've only used the Wilton ones. By their website, makenmold's colours don't seem as intense. It could just be the picture though...

angelatx... LOL!!How funny, Thx for posting that. I know what they are now that I saw them. My Michaels sells them with the candy molds and supplies. They are right down the isle from all the cake suplies LOL! Of course they only have a few colors.I guess I should get my nose out of the cake supplies and check out the rest of the isle !!

i like the flavor of make n' mold better than wilton. paramount crystals are the little wax things you put into the melted chocolate. i get them online at onestopcandle.com.

this is what i found online about them: Paramount crystals are used to aid in the melting of carob, chocolate, and yogurt.
It will help make the coatings smooth and easier to pour into molds or will thin for ease in dipping and coating.

Use up to 1/4 c per lb of coating.

Add a little at a time in the melting process, stir between each addition, until you have your desired consistency.
