I am curious what size of bag I should use to hold two oreos from the molds, back to back?? cuz i don't want it a tight fit, i am going to use royal icing to decorate it and i also don't want it to loose. any suggestions would be so helpful. TIA!! Have a sweet weekend everyone!! icon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gif

angelatx,

I live in Texas too and have seen the orange and red filled oreos. I think the mint also. I haven't seen the other flavors but will sure be looking. I have got to try these. Also try the ritz crackers with pb in the middle then coated with chocolate. I have done these by hand but didn't know there was a mold.

To package them for a baby shower how about making a napkin diaper and inserting two cookies in each?

I just finished my DIL shower and wish I had known about these.

I've tried the mint, the strawberry shortcake, and the peanut butter. All have been very yummy! The strawberry ones were a limited run, and I haven't seen them lately. I also haven't tried the vanilla Oreos with the chocolate filling, but I would think they would be good dipped!

Has anyone tried adding flavored chips to the chocolate for dipping? I was wondering what raspberry chips or cinnamon chips would be like if mixed with the chocolate.

I am in East Texas, small town between Lufkin & Beaumont. The "napkin diaper" is made from a cocktail size napkin folded to resemble a tri-fold diaper. (You may not be old enough to remember these.) Glue corners and glue on small safety pin. Plastic if you can find them. Some dip this in wax to seal completely but I didn't this time and they worked fine for mints. This picture isn't very good but there is a site that explains it better. I will pm it to you when I find it.

I just got my order the other day from Spinning Leaf. Excellent customer service. I ordered the wrong molds, the mini ones. SO I emailed them and asked if I could ship them back and replace with regular size oreo molds. They told me to keep the mini's and they would ship the regular ones to me free of charge! I will be doing my nutter butter ones tonight so I will post pictures on my blogspot, later. They also have a great tutorial for these.
