ok, seems pretty easy, but they just won't look as uniform as i wanted them to. i am going to try it tho. i still haven't even received the molds tho and i ordered them on the tenth, i just know they are the wrong ones tho, cuz i looked at the measurements. well we live and learn, hehehe icon_biggrin.gificon_biggrin.gif

Well the unmolded ones can be awesome to. Thats what we all used before we found molds ! I dont know what design you were going to do but they would look awesome in different candy /baby colors with a fondant cutout on top or a drizzle or something to match the shower design, No one else knows what you had in your mind !

yeah thats true, they don't know. i actually may try doing the lil face with a binkie. if i can't do it and it look nice then i will drizzle it, hehehe

I ordered some molds Last Friday and received them today by priority mail. They even included a free mold as a "thank you"! That was so nice of them.

I just hope that I don't screw these up somehow. It would be a shame to waste perfectly good oreos.

I just got my molds that I ordered and can't wait to get home to make some!! I got the plain ones and the ones with the face on them!!! Super fast shipping and great customer service!!

I think I'm up to about 20 molds, 6 different styles. (Though a couple of those were the single "freebies" they sent.) My all time favorite is the laughing face one. I have 6 of that style so that I can mold an entire package of Oreos in less than half an hour. My second favorite is the plain top. I just did a bunch of those using the orange center Oreos (for Halloween) and topped them with the candy corn Hershey's kisses. Cute and fast!

Does anyone have the Celtic knot mold? I want that mold but it looks like alot of work and I'm not sure how to make the gold on the mold without dust going all over.

I have this one (my kids love anything Celtic). I've just poured in the chocolate, though, nothing fancy. Couldn't you add the gold after they have been molded? Like painting it on?

Yes, I thought about painting it on but it seems it could be quite time consuming... I think Nicholas Lodge has a piping dust recipe but using that much gold to squeeze into the molds would cost me alot in dust. Ho hum! May get them anyway and tinker with some techniques.
