I never knew a machine could make roses!
WOW!!!
I know when I'm doing a cake( it's mostly for ppl I know...I really try to put alot of myself into the cakes...) I like to make my cakes a personal signature... A machine... I just can't get over that...
next thing you know all they'll have to do is dump ingredients in a pan at the beggining, and it goes throgh this machine and comes out the end all iced and decorated....lol...
What a world we live in...lol...

make your icing thicker irisinbloom... that or chill it before you start using it .. when mine does that, I've either heated the icing in the bag up by holding it too long in my hand or I've made the icing too thin icon_smile.gif

icon_eek.gif I can't believe machine made! What's next??? I've run into issues with OT at work and have cakes to do and my hubby tries to help and will say 'why not buy a store-made cake, write on it and give them that' icon_surprised.gif I would NEVER give anyone one of those...not if my name is 'remotely' associated with it!! I know he means well and is trying to save me from never sleeping again, but ugh....

I wondered why every rose looked so identical!

You can tell they're machine made. The bottom row which should be i think 7 petals? is one continuous piece. Kinda looks like a ribbon.

beachcakes that is exactly what they looked like just one continous row and so smooth and not even a jagged edge.

I think that creating your own things are a million times better than making them through a machine. Even if they don't come out perfect. The whole point is that a lot of hard work and thought went into that creation!! It's all about your passion!!
