I just realized i don't know have any brown food coloring and need a little bit of brown BC. Can I make it without the actual color? Appreciate your ideas. Thanks.

add cocoa. or complementary colors thrown together will make a tan color.

You can add some cocoa powder or some melted chocolate.

Opposites on the color wheel make brown...green + red, orange + blue, yellow +purple. I made the most gorgeous brown the other day when cleaning up, I put all colors in cup together before washing up...thought a shame I didn't need it.
