I mean you may need to hire someone, and be open for new ideas and different solutions, it's a risk and a gamble and we are all betting on you!!!

I am in a similar valley of decision. I have people pummeling me with cake orders that I am constantly turning down. I mean an average of 3-4 a month plus someone in the business asking me if I opened yet so they can send me business. I have everything to open a place except a triple sink and the location. My husband is not an entrepreneur but he would help out.

I mean how deep is my burnout? Just the idea of even doing some things for charity and putting a couple things 'on the books' makes me uncomfortable.

On one hand it's silly not to do what I'm good at. On the other it's so nice to not have my life all tied up and tied down in other people's celebrations.
Geez I need therapy!

K8memphis, I have an extra triple sink that I have been holding on to for when I got my business, now I don't need it. Come on down to atlanta and throw it in the back of a truck and you can have it.
Help is no problem. I am keeping an employee and a half. Plus I have my own posse when I need them.

What are the dimensions??

There's a place I can rent for only $450 a month! The 90" sinks would not fit.

(I have 4 mixers and two commercial ovens)

I mean it seems as if God is literally banging me over the head, shaking me by the shoulders to do this.

I could probably buy one (sink) cheaper than to get all the way to Atlanta--but ironically I have been half planning a trip to Atlanta to the Gift Show--I'm in retail.

It has been hectic to say the least. This past weekend, we had 9 wedding cakes plus a 350 serving cake for Macy's 150th birthday. Next week we have 10 or 11, can't remember.
My head was ready to explode with all the "stuff" licenses, insurance, new vehicles, inspections...yada, yada. yada. But the past 2 days I have felt like I am getting a grip. I only spent 8 hours there today and we don't work on Monday!

I am very happy and very tired but hey, that is what it is all about.
We have only gotten a little bit done in decorating because of all the cakes. I have more to do in this main greeting room, but this is the begining....sorry for the non-clarity, my camera was having a bad day.

Will post more as I get things done.

Congruations cakequeen50. What is the name of your business. Your located no far from me. I live in Rome, Ga. Next time in Marietta maybe I can stop in for a visit to see how things are going.
