I'm way up past my bedtime and can't think straight. I'm doing a cake on Monday for a friend that has two sons starting back to school. One son is seven and the other is starting kindergarden. She just wants a chocolate cake with whipped cream icing, chocolate shavings and strawberries, and a clever saying regarding back to school. Any ideas? Thanks for your help.

If they go to the same school, you could use the school motto or you could do "Ready, set, learn!!"
Just a thought...

Why oh Why did this pop up in my head? Here it is...I think it is something my mom and grandma said to us every year on our first days of school...Back to School Back to school so Mommy has no little fools!

I don't know if anyone has ever seen this commercial, but there is one that shows every year at this time that shows a father pushing a shopping cart dumping all kinds of school supplies in it with two kids moping behind him and I think the goes .... "It's here again!" with the song 'It's The Most Wonderful Time of The Year' playing in the background. Since the cake is from a parent for the teachers, I think 'It's the most wonderful time of the year....' would be appropriate.
