i need black cupcake liners and I can not find them anywhere. I tried intotheoven, confecitionary house, bakerscups....and more i know

I looked everywhere for them too! And I found them in Australia! The company is now shipping their products internationally! Here's the link. I ended up not needing them though. The size for our standard cupcake is their muffin size. Good luck.

I just found them on Ebay...but I think I got the last of them..got 250 for 20 bucks. I used to get them from beryls, but they said the company went out of business that makes them. Fancy flours doesnt have them either. They are made in china and with all the scare over lead, they will be impossible to find now. If you find them, buy as many as you can!

Just a reminder if you have that special need for a particular color liner and can't find them anywhere you can make the wrappers very inexpensively and achieve even a better look.

Alamo...how time consuming is it to make?

I made wrappers for my DB wedding last year and it was a real pain...

Do you have instructions...perhaps I did it the hard way. I would need about 120. and I would rather not spend the $30 it is going to cost to get form AU.

I didn't think they were very time consuming at all but of course I kept remembering how much money I was saving by doing them myself. I don't know the occasion but the best thing would be to find black doilies. Not sure if they even exist. This would only be for the appropriate occasion. Otherwise black wrapping paper, scrap book paper, black board wall paper (each guest would get a piece of chalk wrapped with a piece of satin ribbon tied in a bow so they could write a message to the guest of honor) or any black paper (even construction paper I am thinking). I will send you the template that I used. It may not be exact to what you need but will give you a good start. I baked my cupcakes and designated one to use while measuring the wrappers. After cutting them I used a low temp glue gun and placed a very thin line of glue on the appropriate end and wrapped it around the cupcake so it was snug at the bottom and pressed the end with the glue over the other. That's that. That's all there is to it. I made 60 in approx 2 hours from start to finish. Hope this helps. I will look for your e-mail address to send the template. Let me know how it goes!

I FOUND BLACK DOILIES! I use the 10 inch when I cut them from doilies and get 2 per doily.
