I recommend some beginner sugar classes. I went to ICES mini classes last January in FL and they had some on blown sugar and I made a green apple. It was supposed to be a round ball but those are not so easy to make! You need to obtain some equipment before you can attempt blown sugar. There are lists on this website for you that include special gloves with liners, a warming box (you can make your own), a blow pipe (you can use a piece of a metal car antennae), parts from one of those cuffs that take your blood pressure, and several other tools. I enjoyed working with the pulled sugar but have not had time to create a warming box to attempt it at home. It is fun and I hope you get to try it!
