I finished my cowboy boot pillar/deep brown cake

Thank you so much to those with suggestions on how to do the pillars and those with advice on how to get the color to work. Adding a little black to the brown did the trick perfectly! Thanks so much.

I didn't see your original post with your questions, so this is the first I heard of this cake. I wish I'd had something like this for my wedding. I'm sure the bride and groom were very pleased with how it turned out. Congratulations on a beautiful cake! You must have had a really good support system for that tip tier to hold up that bronz statue!

Just wondering if you could tell me how you made those cowboy boot pillars?  i have a wedding cake to do and the customer wants pillars similar to those
