I have e-mailed the company twice that manufactures Sweetex Z. The new zero trans fat hi ratio shortening. I would like to try it. But they will not answer me back. Do you know how I could order some? Has anyone tried it?

I actually ordered mine about a month ago from thebakerskitchen.com. You can buy in 4 pound buckets or the big 80 pound block. The price is very reasonable and so is shipping. After trying sweetex, I will never ever go back to crisco again. HTH!!!

I tried it tonight with their websites suggested buttercream recipe. Worst, grittiest buttercream I've ever tasted in my entire life. Store bought can frosting is ten times better and I don't like that stuff at all! =( Since I have 3 pounds left I'll try something else and see how it goes.
