I really want to try this recipe out, but the person I want to try it out on also wants a BCT. Can you put a BCT on a cake covered in the candy coating?
I'm not sure but I'm going to bump this back up so maybe someone that has tried it can answer the question
I don't see why you can't, as long as you put a BC border around the BCT to anchor it.

I just made a ding dong cake yesterday, and dont see why you couldnt. I made the loop deee Loops or the e's across the top of it with bcf & it looked just like the real Thing..Just HUGE..hahaha.

Although if memory serves--"King Dongs" don't have the loops, it's the Hostess Cupcakes. lol!!! Am I pathetic, or what???

If you look you the giant ding dong cake in the recipes, it tells you there. Thank you for all of your help. I will be making it this week and will post afterwards.
