hi, I have an order for Chocolate covered Marshmallows on a stick, decorated a little, probably dark with white lines or sugars, for a 40th female Bday party in a winery, so I want them to be fancy & classy looking, no sprinkles. The person liked the ones I made at my son's second bday! ANY ideas or suggestions would be appreciated as well as WHAT PRICE shall I charge? one Chocolate covered marshmallow on a stick for one dollar or 2 for the dollar fee? Also, I cannot find any on the CC site that are not snowmen or pumpkins so any links of photo ideas would be appreciated as well! Thank you members for your time ! - Meri8

My questions are:

Are you making the marshmallows from scratch? If so, then you have to price according to that.

Are you buying the marshmallows? If so, how many come in a bag and how much is the bag of mm? Price out the cost of each mm.

Take one marshmallow and weigh it. Dip in chocolate and then weigh again. This will give you a rough estimate of how much chocolate you are using for each mm.

Price out the cost of sticks and packaging (bag, tie, and sticker with candy info and bizz contact)

This should give you a rough estimate of how much it cost to make each piece. How much of a mark up depends on your overhead costs and how much you pay yourself an hour.

I make mine with 3 large marshmallows (store bought) and charge $15 per dozen and have no problems selling at that price.

I am in Ontario Canada, I make and sell the choc covered marshmallow suckers you are talking about. I do usually use sprinkles, but have made them and just drizzled milk chocolate on then. I prefer the sprinkles, but I just dip my end not the whole thing. I usually charge $1.00 for a single FRAMALLOW as I call them! and $1.75 for a double.
My daughter called Marshmallows Framallows before she could pronounce it right! LOL!

Those things are soGOOD! They are my weakness. I just love MM.

I made some and didnt get to sell too many since the family discovered them too.

My sis likes them rolled in crushed butterfinger.
