Does Humidity Affect Frosting?

It seems like my frosting isnt hardenting like it used to..Do you think it is the humidity in the summer air? Thanks cookie friends

Yes, it is the humidity. I've been through this before so here is my advice. If you have air conditioning use it. From this great site I found out that during humid periods you should add extra powdered sugar to your royal. Do not add extra merengue powder (tried that makes it worse). Adding the extra usually does the trick. You should be ok if you allow some extra time and add the extra powdered sugar. icon_smile.gif
