Coconut Drink Cake... Help

any suggestions on how i can make a cake that looks like one of those cute coconut drinks that are shaped like a coconut.. im not the "greatest" carver and i'm alil lost at what i can do

Could you bake the cake in a small Pyrex bowl, then hollow some of the center out and ice?

Do a rough outside to look like the brown of a coconut and white on the inside (coconut buttercream maybe?) and then just add a straw and umbrella, or whatever garnish, add-ons you like.

I used the pampered chef batter bowl to get the shape. It was pretty easy to do. If you have any questions just pm me.
