I agree about the "don't buy then". Like I said in my post that is why we decided to make our own. Of course everyone's buisiness and how they run it is different. As far as comparing, people compare everything all the time.
As far as what kind of pork. lol A pigs head? Oh my goodness! I would of been shocked too!

I grabbed some pork at smart n final it said, pork cushion meat. Whatever that is it tasted really good.

Grinding your own corn? You really are slaving away! lol ABout a year ago I bought an electric grain mill and bought 25 lb bags of organic wheat to grind and make my own whole wheat bread.

Sounds great! I would probably have to buy a ton cause we eat 2 dozen a week and I am sure now that my eldest is making them a whole lot more will be eaten! lol
