Ideas For 100 People--Luncheon Dessert

I was approached to consider doing dessert for 100 people at a Teacher Appreciation Luncheon. I was thinking along the lines of doing individual desserts of some sort...but not sure what.
Any ideas for something easy but somewhat elegant?
Thanks!
How much are they paying you?

Are they paying you enough to do an good assortment? I ask because I normally do a cake, a cheesecake, and pie assortment. Obviously you are not going to sell them cheesecake or apple pie (when apples aren't in season) for the same price as a slice of cake.
i have done many teacher appreciation lunches. mini cupcakes and brownies work well. i made mini champagne cc with a champagne buttercream that were a hit. mini strawberry shortcakes and platters of cookies are good choices too. hope this helps............l laura
I did an assortment of cake balls for our teacher appreciation luncheon. They were a HUGE hit!
Wow, I just did something like this this weekend. Can't say that I'd do it again though. I did tarts, lemon bars, cookies and cupcakes.
Are they sitting at tables? Maybe you could do a cupcake bouquet for each table-I did that one year and it was really nice.
I have done in the past -cupcakes, tiered presentation cake, individual tarts-brownies-petit fours. Oh - and don't forget dietary needs - include fruit if you are doing all of the desserts.
I really liked the cupcake thing on each table - you could do cookies too. It's really a nice presentation.
Hope this helps
Does it have to be cake? I was thinking banana pudding. It's easy, very portable, and yummy.
