Hi, I am trying to find where I can buy edible images for cakes. I am doing a miltary cake for a young man , coming home and I am looking for ideas for something like a tank or something miltary. Would anyone have any ideas. I need to serve 100 servings.
thanks

I ordered some from EBAY and was really happy with them. I ordered a Medicare Card, Snickers Logo and some business cards that had our church information on it.
Walmart is where I get mine done. They are reasonable and you can usually get them done while you wait.
When exactly do you need your image? I have my own machine and might be able to make one for you, where do you live?
same for me, I need to get an EI of the Army logo for a guy graduating college and being commissioned. I have gotten them at walmart before, I paid $5 for it, but I don't know if the one where I live now will do it. Sometimes grocery stores... like winn dixie or maybe even publix.
I dont know if I shouldnt do this or not but since were already talking about edible images I was wondering does it matter what type of printer I buy to make my own images?
Should it ONLY be used for this purpose? or can you switch the print cartridges and use it as a normal printer as well?
My apologies if im not suppose to ask questions on someone elses post, just very curious.
Thank you

You can't switch back and forth, it has to be used exclusively for edible ink
where do you get edible ink and what do you print it on?
Now this is a question I know haha
IF you have a cake store in your town you should be able to find it there. Otherwise try ebay.
Also you could go to this website and see if they ship but i know for sure they have it!!

bennett5, how much would you charge to do an edible image? I live in San Antonio TX. Just curious..
I've only used an image once, but I've been finding that ALL grocery stores that do cakes will usually do the edible images for you. I paid $10 for a sheet which seems high, but when you need that special something, it's worth it!
