Hi, can someone tell me how-to get the rose look on cupcake. I know you use tip 1M. But, how do you do it? Can someone describe it or if you have a link to a video. Thanx, Jonna

I actually use the 2D tip. Start in the center, hold the cupcake still, and use your wrist to swirl the bag around. That will make the "folds" of frosting layer onto eachother. Hope this helps! I saw someone else describe it that way, and it worked for me!! icon_smile.gif

Or you can make an actual rose on the cupcake too:

I just used the really large rose tip...can't think of the number, but its like a 104, but bigger...

I've used both the 1M and the 2D tip. They turn out pretty similar. Start in the center and make a rosette on the cupcake (wilton website has a tutorial if you don't know how). Except like abslu said move your wrist not your whole arm. Play around with it and you'll get it pretty quick. Good luck!

I also use the 1M tip, and start in the middle, and do out around the cupcake trying slightly overlap but staying the same height. I hope that makes sense.I will try to post a picture (I've never done it), but you can also check my photos for examples.
